If you purchased your monitor within the last 5 years, there's a high chance it'll work great!
Get the ultrafine experience, with any monitor
If you’ve got an external display this app is absolutely life changing
It works! Never touching the clunky button to adjust volume again.
I have an external USB-C display that resets its brightness every time my Mac mini turns it off. It's infuriating, and now all I need to do is click a button and the brightness is set to 100% in an instant. And it's amazing.
Immediate buy! Works great with my Dell U2518D
This is amazing and exactly what I was looking for! Waiting for the M1 and windows release! Great job!
I started using DisplayBuddy in beta and I can never go back to hardware buttons now! Go support an indie developer!
DisplayBuddy talks to your monitor using the DDC spec. If you've a monitor that was manufactured in the last 5 years or so, there's a very high chance it will work great with DisplayBuddy!
If by chance it doesn't work, we'll refund your DisplayBuddy purchase within 7 days of your order.
No, but we will give you a refund for your app purchase within 7 days if the app doesn't work for you.
Your license is valid for use on upto 4 Macs you own.
Unfortunately, no. Apple M1's GPU doesn't expose the necessary interfaces required for DisplayBuddy yet. When the interface does become available, DisplayBuddy will be updated.
I sometimes work during the night, and I don't want my two monitors at full blast hurting my eyes in dim light. I use DisplayBuddy to quickly switch my displays to the correct brightness based on the time of the day.
A lot of monitors have built-in presets for brightness and contrast, like Game, Movie, Reading etc, which lock your monitor's brightness & contrast to predefined levels. I highly recommend you set this mode to Custom, so that DisplayBuddy can then control these values.
Some monitors also have a DDC/CI setting: make sure this is set to enabled.
I haven't made DisplayBuddy for Windows yet, but there are some alternatives available.
